Celtic cross complete.

I finished the Celtic cross on Saturday. I was able to get it finished with several coats of polyurethane.

If you missed the last installment, this cross is a full size version of the one that I made for Mrs Flying WoodShop's Christmas gift. The overall dimensions of the cross are 8.5 inches wide by 16 inches tall. It's about 7/8 inch thick. This particular cross is made of poplar, but I'm already working on the next one made of basswood. These crosses are for sale here.

I satined the cross with several tints, but the main one has a bit of a reddish tint to it.
