I'm making a War Hammer.  If you don't know what a War Hammer is, don't worry, I didn't either.  This is a tool that was designed by Matt Moore to help cross fit athletes change weights when they're using barbells without a bench.

Here's how I understand it, though...

I'm continuing work on the whiskey crate.  If you haven't checked out the other couple of entries on this project, please look at parts 1 and 2.

This week, I finished up most of the carving, though I still need to carve the recipient's name on the lid of the crat...

Thanks for checking it out!

The Baptismal Font is complete just in time for Easter!  I knew it would happen, and I'm very happy with the results...even if I had to make two of them to get it right.

While making version 1.0 of the font, I had a slip up and ended up having to re-cut a series of join...

February 14, 2018

I'm making progress on the baptismal font.  This video is a bit less technical and shows the process that I use on most of my projects.  I begin with rough cut lumber from my local hardwood dealer and mill it into a usable size.  Sometimes I just need two flat and para...
